Plaster bust portrait of Italic Venus, the original sculpture was realized in marble by the Italian artist Antonio Canova at the beginning of 1800s, nowadays preserved in the Palatina Gallery in Florence. Canova sculpted the Venus inspired by the Venus de’ Medici which was confiscated and moved in France during the Napoleon era. This is a Tuscan reproduction in plaster from the 1900s.
