Beautiful veneered walnut secrétaire with rich inlay decoration. Inlays in cherry, “canaletto” walnut, and maple create beautiful ornamental motifs in neoclassical taste with geometric elements, plant shoots, and birds. The bureau has a drawer at the top, a fall front writing surface that closes an internal three-drawer unit, and two drawers at the bottom. Smooth sides with a double rosette decoration. Tuscany late 1700s.
